In the spirit of Yom Ha'atzmaut, Israel's Independence Day, which is May 13, writer and New York Post editor David Christopher Kaufman will give a FED talk on the danger of Israel erasure over a Shabbat dinner complete with Israeli food, wine and live music.

About the event
David Christopher Kaufman's FED talk will focus on "Israel Erasure," the dangerous trend taking over media and culture that seeks to "erase" Israel from all forms of public discourse.
Kaufman, who's both Jewish-American and African-American, spent years living in Tel Aviv and roots his advocacy in his strong love and understanding of Israel. At a time when so many minority groups -- Blacks, LGBTs, feminists -- have abandoned Israel and embraced antisemitism, Kaufman offers a fresh approach to these complex topics rooted in Israel's right to exist and thrive.
